AGG ELECTRONIKS and its subsidies (collectively referred to in this Privacy Statement as "we" or "AGG ELECTRONIKS") recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of our web sites and customers of our products and services. We created this policy with a fundamental respect for our customers' right to privacy and to guide our relationships with our customers. This Privacy Statement discloses the privacy practices for all products and services owned by AGG ELECTRONIKS.

Registration

AGG ELECTRONIKS is the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties, except as outlined in this policy. We collect information from our customers to process orders and better serve you with pertinent information, such as order confirmations and order status updates. Information collected includes your name, shipping address, billing address, telephone numbers, e-mail address, and payment information. If you elect to receive our newsletters or special promotions, your contact information will be used for the delivery of these items. 

We may ask you to complete account registration form. During registration, you will be required to provide your contact information, which includes your name, e-mail address, telephone number and street address. This information is used to provide you with important AGG ELECTRONIKS services such as shipping address, updates via e-mail.

 

Cookies

Most of the information collected in the registration process will be used to process orders. During the order process, you will have to provide financial information such as proof of payment, your banking institution and or your credit card information, money order, wire transfer or check information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfil your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this contact information to get in touch with you. To properly process your credit card information, we must share your personal and financial information with the merchant bank for authorization and approval. This process is protected by an enhanced security system. We do not share your personal and financial information with any third parties, except those specified in the Sharing section of this policy.

  

We customize certain Web page content based upon your browser type and other information provided by our cookie. If you choose to reject the cookie, you can still browse our webpage. We will not share any personally identifiable information provided by this cookie with any third party. We will, however, link data stored in cookies to the personally identifiable information you submitted while on our site. This allows us to personalize your browsing experience and discern user preferences to evoke subconscious feelings of familiarity and assurance.

 

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Sharing

These functions may include order fulfilment, package delivery, marketing assistance, postal and e-mail delivery, customer service, data analysis, and credit processing. The third parties we contract for these purposes have limited access to your personal information and may not use it for other purposes.   As our business continues to evolve, we may acquire or sell business units or subsidiaries. Customer information is one of the business assets that would be transferred in these types of transactions. In such a situation, your personally identifiable information would only be used in a manner consistent with our pre-existing Privacy Notice.   We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

 

Applying for Standard Accounts

Any legal adult can apply for a standard buyer account with AGG Electroniks. Buyers can apply for a standard account any time by filling in the account application form on the website (if available) or request the office to send them the application form.  It takes only a few minutes and buyer only needs to provide basic personal and business information.  Please note that buyer account form is different from credit application form.  For security reason, AGG Electroniks may manually verify certain new account applications prior to account activation.

 

Distributor Application

Buyer with proven business record may qualify for applying for being a distributor. A distributor account has unique privileges that a standard business and personal account does not have, including a dedicated sales manager, prioritized support, as well as more competitive product pricing schedule.

 

Placing an Order

Buyer can place orders online via AGG Electroniks website or via one of our sales representatives. Orders can also be placed by telephone, fax or e-mail.

 

Order Lead Time

Small orders are available for immediate delivery within South Africa. Export orders will be shipped within 2 to 4 working days after the order is processed. Medium and large orders within 5 working days. Shipping dates will be updated after the order payments are cleared and AGG Electroniks begins processing the orders. Shipping date is estimated only and may vary significantly. Buyers with strict delivery deadlines are advised to place orders well in advance.

 

Changing Existing Order

If the order is not processed, AGG Electroniks may be able to make change to the order. If the order is paid and the order is being processed, AGG Electroniks is unable to remove or change products, or reduce product quantities. Adding products or increasing the quantities of the same models may be feasible. In any circumstances, changing order may incur significant delay. If buyer needs to change order detail when the order is being processed, please contact one of our sales representatives.

 

Cancelling Order by Customer

AGG Electroniks will cancel orders in the following cases:

- The order has been placed but not paid, and AGG Electroniks is unable to confirm the order detail, including but not limited to shipping address, buyer's identity, payment issues, and product availability.

- Buyer requests to cancel the order. If the order has not been processed, the order will be cancelled. If payment has been made, a full refund will be made via the original form of payment less all applicable fees.

 

Product Description and Specification

Customers are advised to pay attention to product description, features, and technical specifications. Before placing large orders, customers are strongly advised to order samples, and put down the necessary technical details and products pictures into written agreements to avoid any product specification dispute.

 

Minor Product Specification Discrepancy

Buyer agrees that AGG Electroniks can ship products with different packaging or colour unless the buyer explicitly indicates the products colour or packaging requirement in their order comments.

 

Order with Custom-designed Products

Custom-designed products includes but not limited to custom logos, packaging, software, firmware, casings, printed circuit boards, accessories, chipsets, other hardware designs, user guides and other printed materials. Orders with customs-designed products generally cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable after AGG Electroniks starts processing the order. Customers placing a large order for products using custom-designs are strongly advised to talk with one of your sales representatives and put detail product specification in agreement before placing orders.

 

Limitation of Liability

Buyer agrees that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to AGG Electroniks arising from any product sold from AGG Electroniks shall be the price of the product ordered. In no event shall AGG Electroniks, its directors, officers, employees or other representatives be liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to products sold.

 

Account Cancellation

Customers can request to have their account cancelled at any time provided that there is no open or pending order, and no unresolved issue. Cancelled account can be re-activated at any time at the customer's request. Customer can also request to have all order history and customer information permanently removed from all AGG Electroniks servers.
